Leatherman Fuse multi-tool

After the dog, the multi-tool is man's next best friend. As its name suggests, a multi-tool is basically an assortment of commonly needed tools condensed into a single, compact unit. Knowing what tools are needed and how small they can be made without losing functionality is an art, and this is something that Leatherman is a master of.

I have had this Leatherman Fuse for around two years and it has been a joy to carry around and use.

Leatherman Fuse

There are thirteen tools in the Fuse:
  1. 420HC Clip Point Knife
  2. 8 inch / 9 cm ruler
  3. Bottle opener
  4. Can opener
  5. Hard-wire cutters
  6. Large screwdriver
  7. Needlenose pliers
  8. Philips screwdriver
  9. Regular pliers
  10. Scissors
  11. Small screwdriver
  12. Wire cutters
  13. Wire stripper

The one I use the most are the pliers, knife, wire cutters, scissors and the screw drivers.
It comes with a leather case but i have recently swapped them out for a slimmer and lighter Gregory SPEAR Series Como Case.

Verdict:
Great multi-tool to own and does most jobs well. Knife is very sharp and can be easily sharpened. Pliers are well made and stays tight and stiff even when torqueing hard on objects.
